Company History

High Street Equity Advisors, LLC was founded in Boston in 2002 by veterans of the real estate and capital markets. The principals at High Street have a combined experience of more than 100 years investing and managing capital. They have been involved in the sourcing and management of more than $20 billion in both the public and private real estate markets.

Having spent decades rising to senior executive positions in national real estate firms such as Trammell Crow Company, Copley Real Estate Advisors, and Phoenix Corporate Services, the principals of High Street wanted to return to their roots by taking hands-on roles in the acquisition, financing, management, and disposition of real estate assets. Their knowledge indicated that close, experienced attention is the key to successful management, value creation, and achievement of risk-adjusted returns. They also wanted to create a relationship-driven firm that leverages the widespread network they have built over long careers.

High Street’s principals personally invested the capital required to build information systems, create investment controls, and staff the organization. Additionally, the principals have and will continue to invest personal capital in all fund offerings. By investing in geographic markets and asset types they know thoroughly, the principals at High Street Equity aim to structure institutional grade equity real estate investments that produce current cash distributions and a risk-adjusted overall investment yield over a defined holding period.

High Street has developed a disciplined, portfolio-driven approach. Using its proprietary Nine Point Investment Model©, High Street acquires assets that will meet predefined objectives. These assets are strategically managed by senior managers based upon real estate operating fundamentals and are liquidated when they have achieved the predefined profit objective. The objective of each fund is to provide consistent quarterly cash distributions and a risk-adjusted total net return through investment in distribution properties located in major growth markets in the eastern half of the United States. A limited portion of the funds are invested in complementary office properties.

Since inception, High Street’s real estate funds have produced consistent income distributions to the investors and superior returns.
